“The cake was a gift to the eyes. We showed it to other people eating at the restaurant. Everyone “ooh-ed” and “ahh-ed”. We took it to Prospect Park. I put a candle on it. He blew it. His eyes were like a little boy’s. So excited. We dove into it one slice at a time. Mmmmmm…. We ate it all. Throughout the day. It was scrumptious. Every bite. We did not experience a sugar crash. Sun In Bloom’s Bakery is a specialized bakery dedicated to creating high quality, gluten-free, vegan, and mostly organic confections. Guests who have a gluten intolerance or celiac disease can take comfort in knowing Sun In Bloom’s chef & founder, Aimee Follette, lives with celiac disease. She is inspired to create recipes that deliver an over-the-moon delicious and pleasurable experience, and that are both nourishing and healing to the body.

Sun In Bloom does not use refined sugar and the majority of our desserts are sweetened with agave nectar, a low-glycemic syrup. We also use coconut oil, which is very nourishing to the body. Coconut oil is easily digested and high in lauric acid. Studies indicate it can help kill bacteria and yeast, promote healthy heart function, regulate cholesterol levels, fight viral infections and boost metabolism.

Orders are taken Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM. Please provide us with 48 hours notice for all orders. During the holidays, our orders tend to book up a few weeks in advance, please call accordingly.

    THE BEST GLUTEN FREE VEGAN GOODIES. The muffins melt in your mouth, that’s how moist they are. The flavors don’t disappear in the taste of gluten-free flours, and they are filling without being heavy! I loved my banana bread, and brought my friend back to try.

  3. I totally agree, I’ve tasted gluten free and gluten free+ vegan deserts all over and sun in bloom makes the most delicious ones out there!

  4. Going there in 2 weeks of course I am a dessert man, will need to give these a try. Nothing better then finding a Vegan GF dessert that has incredible taste and flavor, so looking forward to it.
